Navatman

Sahasra Sambamoorthi, the Artistic Director of Navatman Dance, founded the Bharatanatyam dance company in 2010 with the goal of becoming a leading international dance company known for quality productions and pushing boundaries within its class. The company receives mentorship from renowned dancers and regularly trains its members in various disciplines. Navatman Dance has successfully produced three seasons and two tours, with the most recent being "Dance of the Animals" in 2012. The company is known for its innovation and has received recognition from the New York State Senate. Navatman is a go-to center for classical Indian performing arts in New York City, offering classes and producing critically acclaimed shows for professional artists.
