The NCWA is dedicated to increasing athletic opportunities for all students, particularly in the sport of wrestling. With college wrestling at its lowest level in history and more high school wrestlers graduating, many are faced with choosing between continuing their sport and their academic aspirations. The NCWA aims to fill this gap by providing a platform for new wrestling teams and opportunities for students to continue competing in college. This is especially important as many institutions have lost their NCAA wrestling programs due to budget cuts or legislation, leaving a void that the NCWA seeks to fill.
