Northern Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council

The Northern Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (NOMSDC) is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). It works to prepare Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) to become preferred suppliers in Northern Ohio by certifying businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by MBEs. NOMSDC serves 38 counties in Northern Ohio and supports economic development and growth in the region by encouraging the procurement of goods and services from local minority-owned businesses. Its mission is to intervene in the economy of Northern Ohio and enhance the profitability of its ethnic minority-owned businesses, primarily through increasing the purchase of goods and services from these firms by major corporations. NOMSDC's vision is to be Northern Ohio's premier organization for certifying, developing, and coaching minority-owned businesses and supporting corporations with their Supplier Diversity Initiatives.
