Our Restorative Justice (OurRJ)

Our Restorative Justice (OurRJ) is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2012 with the mission of providing marginalized youth and young adults with an alternative approach to justice that disrupts the school-to-prison pipeline. OurRJ utilizes a restorative justice model to empower youth to resolve harm and conflict within their own communities, surrounding them with high levels of support and accountability. By addressing the root cause of harm, OurRJ keeps youth in school, strengthens families, and builds robust communities. The organization explores and addresses the root causes of an offense in a safe setting, empowering those harmed by an offense and tailoring each case to meet the specific needs of those involved.
