The Packer Collegiate Institute is an independent, college preparatory day school in Brooklyn, New York, offering coeducational programs from Preschool through Grade 12. With a culturally diverse body of approximately 130 full time and 15 part time teachers, the school has a student/faculty ratio of 1:7 in the Upper School. The 1000+ students represent all five boroughs of New York City and parts of New Jersey. The campus includes over 65 classrooms, two libraries, two gymnasiums, a fitness center, a theater, a dance studio, and a dining commons, as well as a timeless gothic revival Chapel in Founders Hall dating back to 1854. Packer is committed to balancing the value of scholarship and intellect with meaningful and sustained relationships, guiding students to think deeply, speak confidently, and act with purpose and heart.
