Path 1, a trade name for IP Video Networks, Inc., has a history of innovative design and high-quality products. They pioneered the first commercial live SDI over IP backhauls in 2001 and became an industry leader in video-on-demand IP multiplexing in 2004. Their network processor-based platform has been the basis for successful video-on-demand and broadcast-quality gateways, with products now found on 5 continents and in over 30 countries. In 2013, Path 1 introduced the PiXiE family of encoders and decoders for contribution and distribution, enabling broadcasters and service operators to deliver content independently.
