Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley

The Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization licensed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and U.S. Department of Fish & Wildlife. Founded in 1993, the center serves all citizens and wildlife of Santa Clara County communities from Mountain View to Morgan Hill. Operated in partnership with the Santa Clara County Parks & Recreation Department, the center promotes the interests of Silicon Valley wildlife through rehabilitation and release of sick, injured, and orphaned birds, mammals, and reptiles, as well as community outreach programs that foster coexistence and improve the local environment and quality of life. The center provides quality medical care and rehabilitation for injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife within the Silicon Valley community, relying on donations to support its work. With the dedication of over 150 volunteers, the center cares for over 5,600 birds, mammals, and reptiles from over 150 species each year. Its mission is to provide high-quality care and rehabilitation for wildlife, foster positive coexistence between the general public and wildlife, and encourage an interest in and concern for wildlife conservation issues.
