Plattduetsche Park Restaurant

Plattduetsche Park Restaurant, located at 1132 Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square, has been serving authentic German specialties and continental cuisine since 1939. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday, with a Beer Hall at the Plattduetsche Biergarten open year-round Friday through Sunday. The restaurant offers catering facilities for groups of 10 to 700, off-site catering packages, a bar menu, outdoor and indoor festivals, and theme nights throughout the year. The Plattduetsche also hosts Long Island's largest Biergarten, and features live music every Friday night with no cover charge, late night menu on Fridays and Saturdays, and German beer on tap. The restaurant is also a clubhouse for many German-American groups and offers a variety of annual festivals and events.
