Potlatch Fund

Potlatch Fund is dedicated to expanding philanthropy within Tribal nations and Native communities in the Northwest, drawing upon the Native tradition of giving. Through grants, nonprofit development, and inspiring philanthropy, the organization aims to address inequality and promote diversity. They work with Tribal leadership, Native community, nonprofit leaders, and Native artists to empower emerging leaders and develop the best strategies in nonprofit management, fundraising, and grant writing. Additionally, Potlatch Fund holds several grant programs and provides culturally appropriate trainings within Native communities to remove barriers to accessing mainstream foundation grants. Their efforts have resulted in successful applications and positive reinforcement of skills learned, ultimately driving a robust Native nonprofit sector in the region.
