Redner's Warehouse Markets is a chain of employee-owned supermarkets that operates throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York. Founded in 1970 by Earl and Mary Redner, the company was one of the first supermarkets in Pennsylvania to have electronic scanners, a recycling program, and in-store pharmacies. With over 40 warehouse markets, Redner's offers a wide range of food and nonfood items, including bakery, dairy, and deli products, as well as health and beauty aids, natural and organic goods, seafood, and general merchandise. The company's deli department provides a salad bar and a variety of appetizers and entrees for various occasions. Redner's Warehouse Markets maintains a presence in Allentown, Pa.
