Room to Read

Room to Read is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for children in Asia and Africa. Through their youth-action arm, Students Helping Students, they work with thousands of students around the world to ensure that children have access to schooling. Founded in 2000, Room to Read focuses on deep, systemic transformation within schools in low-income communities during critical time periods in a child’s schooling. They work in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations, and governments to develop literacy skills and ensure girls can complete secondary school.
