San Francisco Ho Chi Minh

The San Francisco - Ho Chi Minh City Sister City Committee, founded in 1995 by former Mayor Frank M. Jordan, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the people of Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City. The organization is led by Board President Bui Duy Tam, MD, Ph.D. and Executive Director George G. Saxton. The committee maintains sister city relationships with cities around the world and promotes various programs to achieve its mission. The Committee operates independently and does not receive funding from the City and County of San Francisco.
