Scandinavian Design, Inc. was founded in 1955 by architect Hans Lindblom and his wife Celia, initially offering furniture designs by Bruno Mathsson. Over the years, the company expanded its offerings to include designs by other renowned Scandinavian designers such as Alvar Aalto, Arne Jacobsen, and Hans J. Wegner. Today, the company represents over 50 furniture and lighting designers from 28 manufacturers in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, specializing in classic and contemporary designs from the 30's, 40's, and 50's. With a focus on quality and construction, Scandinavian Design, Inc. has become a leading importer of classic furniture and lighting from Scandinavia, also offering a range of home decor items.
