Sequoia Foundation

KyotoUSA, a volunteer group based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is dedicated to urging local cities, institutions, and residents to take meaningful action to combat global warming and its effects on the climate. The organization believes that it is time for local residents to come together to address this pressing issue and hopes that their efforts will inspire similar action nationwide. Additionally, KyotoUSA aims to encourage federal government leaders to ratify and implement an international climate change treaty that goes beyond mere rhetoric and leads to significant reductions in global carbon emissions.
