Slackwood Elementary School

Slackwood Elementary School, established in 1904, offers a comprehensive academic curriculum for students in kindergarten through grade three, as well as a preschool program. The school provides specialized programs in language arts, mathematics, science, art, music, technology, and physical education. Additionally, it offers English as a Second Language, reading recovery, and special education programs. The school's guidance and counseling department focuses on the academic, personal, social, and career development of students, and it also offers the C.A.R.E. Kids program for community service projects. Located in Lawrenceville, N.J., Slackwood Elementary School is part of the Lawrence Township Public Schools system. The PTO welcomes all parents, guardians, and teachers to join their monthly meetings, held on the third Thursday of every month at 7pm in the school library, with free childcare available for children aged 3 and older.
