The choral program at SVHS aims to promote music literacy, foster an appreciation for vocal music, and prepare students to be lifelong musicians. The program encourages students to continue making music a part of their lives after graduation, whether through college music studies, joining collegiate performing groups, or advocating for music in their communities. The FaceBook page for Chorus and AP Music Theory students of Harriette Lovin serves as a platform for communication, sharing performances, important dates, upcoming events, and reminders. Graduates of SVHS who were in chorus are encouraged to join the South View High School Chorus Alumni FaceBook page.
