Summer Search

Summer Search partners with high schools, community-based organizations, and families to provide mentoring and experiential opportunities, as well as expand college support services for students from low-income backgrounds. Their mission is to support students in earning a bachelor’s degree and becoming socially responsible leaders. Their integrated approach includes mentoring, transformative summer experiences, and start-to-finish college advising and support. The organization's long-term investment successfully supports students in changing the nation’s college completion narrative, with 96% of students of color and 92% first-generation college students earning a bachelor’s degree within six years of graduating high school.
