The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot is a long-standing Thanksgiving Day tradition that has grown from a small race at White Rock Lake to the largest event of its kind in the country. The event now includes an 8 mile race, a 5K, and a 3 mile Fun Run/Walk, as well as family-friendly activities. The Trot supports the YMCA's mission of promoting strong kids, families, and communities. The T. Boone Pickens YMCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, offering programs and services for all ages.
