The Blazer Pub

The Blazer Pub, originally opened in 1971 by Tom and Emer Heavey, is a traditional local pub known for its burgers and bar food classics. The building, constructed in 1928, has a rich history as a rest stop along Route 22 before being fully converted into a restaurant and tavern in the 1950s. In April of 1988, Richard and Rita O’Leary purchased the business from the Heavey family. The pub has received accolades such as being voted Best Burgers in 2010 by Zagat Magazine and Best Wings and Chili by Westchester Magazine. The Blazer Pub is a cash-only establishment and is known for its sometimes-rowdy atmosphere.
