The Committee for Economic Development

The Committee for Economic Development (CED) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, business-led public-policy organization that focuses on delivering well-researched analysis and reasoned solutions to critical issues. CED's core principles include sustainable capitalism, long-term economic growth, efficient fiscal/regulatory policy, competitive/open markets, global competitiveness, equal economic opportunity, and non-partisan decision-making. CED has made significant contributions to past policy, including the Marshall Plan, the Bretton Woods Agreement, the Employment Act of 1946, pre-K education importance and funding, the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act, and corporate governance reform.
