The Library Foundation

The Library Foundation and Multnomah County Library collaborate to identify opportunities for leveraging private funds to make a significant impact. Last year, their support enabled the library to reach over 215,000 vulnerable children and adults, focusing on those facing literacy risks. Their vision is to create a stronger, better-educated, and more vibrant community, achieved through initiatives supporting literacy, promoting arts and culture, building collections, and funding library buildings. Their ultimate goal is to nurture a curious, compassionate, and educated community through their support, expansion, and advocacy for the library's innovative work.
