Business Description
The Local Butcher Shop, located in Berkeley, California, offers sustainably raised, locally sourced meat from farmers and ranchers within 150 miles of the shop. The shop practices whole animal butchery, ensuring no part of the animal goes to waste. In addition to custom cut butchery, the shop offers house-made sausages, pates, stocks, and a changing Sandwich of the Day. The founders, Aaron and Monica Rocchino, opened the shop in 2011 with the goal of providing high-quality, locally sourced meat to the community.
