The NEA Foundation

The NEA Foundation is a national nonprofit and philanthropic organization based in Washington, DC, dedicated to advancing student achievement and improving public education. Supported by contributions from educators' dues, corporate sponsors, foundations, and others, the Foundation works in partnership with educators to promote the best in public education. Since its founding in 1969, the Foundation has provided funding and resources to educators, schools, and districts to address teaching and learning challenges, believing that when educators are empowered, communities, schools, and students all benefit.
