The Pittsburgh Oratory, Catholic Newman Center

The Ryan Catholic Newman Center is a spiritual and social hub for students of the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, and Chatham University. In collaboration with St. Paul's Cathedral parish, the center provides Catholic campus ministry with the support of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Established in 1961 by Bishop John Wright, the center offers daily and Sunday Masses, confessions, Eucharistic adoration, campus ministry, spiritual enrichment, and counseling. The Pittsburgh Oratory, a pontifical house of the Confederation of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri, hosts various Catholic groups and works in the Oakland community.
