The UW Oshkosh program offers valuable experience to members placed at schools and nonprofit agencies, helping local organizations fulfill their missions and supporting veterans and military families. Members will complete 450 service and training hours over a 3-10 month period, receiving a living allowance of $2,000 and an education award of $1,468. Qualifications include being a US citizen, national, or permanent resident alien, a minimum age of 17, and a strong desire to provide service to the community. In addition, members must be a current student at UW Oshkosh, a veteran, or an immediate family member of a veteran. For the 2014-15 program year, students at select partner institutions are also eligible.
