Verland Foundation Inc is a non-profit organization that provides person-centered community homes and services for 230 individuals with intellectual disabilities, many of whom have multiple physical challenges. The organization's Sewickley campus houses the Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disability (IID) and offers a wide range of programs, including aural rehabilitation, communication and equestrian therapies, life skills development, and occupational, physical, and recreational therapies. In addition, Verland Foundation provides on-site health care services and an adult training facility for basic social, cognitive, and vocational skills development. Established in 1981, the organization is affiliated with the American Network of Community Options & Resources and the Association for Retarded Citizens.
