Viking Village

Founded in the 1920's, Viking Village has grown to become an industry leader in commercial seafood production. The company's facility in Barnegat Light can accommodate up to forty boats and includes a main packout dock and large coolers to ensure the freshness of their catch. Viking Village is dedicated to responsibly caught fish and scallops, working closely with the National Marine Fisheries Service and playing a major role in the management and cooperative research process. The company is also home to a variety of shops and offers dock tours to visitors. Additionally, Viking Village provides a variety of food and gift items from Norwegian and other Scandinavian countries, including baking products, beverages, cheeses, fish products, and jewelry.
