WATCH has a racially, ethnically and economically diverse membership and constituency, and continually assesses the needs of the community, adapts to meet those needs and acts to make positive community changes. The organization's members come from all income levels, ethnic backgrounds, and political affiliations, and share a common interest in having input into local decisions and building connections with others. Everyone is invited to participate with WATCH, and direct services are available for any family seeking assistance. The organization's history dates back to its formation at the first Annual Meeting on October 22, 1988, and it continues to work towards its mission of creating a more just community in the Waltham area.
