Woodland Middle School

Woodland Middle School, established in 1955 and affiliated with the East Meadow Union Free School District, provides education to students in grades six through eight. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum including mathematics, science, language arts, foreign languages, and health and physical education. Additionally, the school has an on-site store offering school supplies, stationery, accessories, and uniforms. The school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities such as peer mediation, field trips, mathematics Olympiad, yearbook, scrabble, the National Junior Honor Society, photography, and chess and drama clubs. Sports activities offered include volleyball, football, cheerleading, cross country, basketball, wrestling, swimming, softball, baseball, field hockey, lacrosse, and track and field. Located in East Meadow, N.Y., Woodland Middle School has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students.
