The Sharks are a USA-S/YMCA swim team for children ages 6-18, based at the MDI YMCA in Maine. The team has been active since 1971 and competes in the 6-lane 25 yard Lenny DeMuro Swimming Pool. The team welcomes swimmers of all abilities and consistently places in the top 5 at state meets. The team is divided into 4 seasons and offers opportunities for visiting swimmers to join workouts. For more information on joining the team, interested individuals can contact Head Coach Jim Willis.
